Lingo Staffing is seeking motivated, detail-oriented individuals to join a leading transportation and logistics operation as a North American Operations Specialist. If you thrive in a fast-paced office environment, enjoy solving problems, and have excellent communication and organizational skills, we’d love to hear from you!

In this role, you’ll help keep freight moving efficiently by tracking shipments, communicating with carriers, updating transportation records, and supporting daily logistics operations.

What You’ll Do

• Track, trace, and monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery.

• Maintain accurate transportation records and shipment documentation.

• Provide shipment updates to customers and internal teams.

• Monitor email, web portals, voicemail, and transportation systems for shipment activity.

• Process transportation and customer information accurately.

• Review carrier invoices and verify billing accuracy.

• Apply transportation and accessorial charges when needed.

• Assist with daily logistics and administrative operations.

• Support internal departments with shipment information and operational updates.

• Maintain accurate data entry and documentation.

• Follow company safety, quality, and compliance standards.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Previous experience in logistics, transportation, dispatch, customer service, operations, or administrative support preferred.

• Freight forwarding or supply chain experience is a plus.

• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and web-based systems.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

• Dependable attendance and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
