Job Description

Lingo Staffing is Now Hiring – Quality Inspector in the Canton, OH to start ASAP!

Quality Inspector – Responsible for ensuring fabricated metal products meet company and customer quality standards by performing inspections throughout the manufacturing process. This role conducts incoming, in-process, and final inspections using precision measuring instruments, interprets blueprints and specifications, prepares inspection reports, maintains calibration records, and supports production by identifying and resolving quality concerns. The ideal candidate has strong blueprint reading skills, experience with precision inspection tools, excellent math abilities, and a commitment to accuracy and continuous quality improvement.

Payrate & Scheduled:

  • $23.00-$25.00/hour (Based on experience and skill level)
  • 1st Shift | Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Job Responsibilities & Requirements:

  • Conduct daily inspections and testing using a variety of inspection tools and techniques.
  • Previous experience as a Quality Inspector in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Experience using precision inspection tools, including: Calipers, Height Gages, Combination Squares.
  • Experience using CAD software to enter inspection parameters.
  • Inspect incoming materials, work-in-process, and finished fabricated metal products to ensure they meet drawing specifications.
  • Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) and prepare First Article Reports using Microsoft Excel.
  • Calibrate inspection equipment and maintain calibration records in the Gagepack database.
  • Perform 100% inspections and make adjustments on customer-required production lots.
  • Maintain accurate inspection documentation in accordance with company and customer quality standards.
  • Support production teams with quality-related activities as needed.
  • Excellent math skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Calibration experience preferred.
  • Experience with CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) and surface plate inspection techniques is a plus.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel for reporting.
